Beverage-Air Repair in Phoenix

Back-bar coolers live in the worst spot in the building: boxed in, unventilated, and behind a bar that is already warm. That is where most Beverage-Air calls come from.

Expert Beverage-Air Service

There is nothing wrong with the equipment. There is a great deal wrong with where it gets installed. A back-bar cooler is typically slotted into a cabinet run with a few inches of clearance, under a bar top, next to a glass washer throwing heat and steam, in a room that is warm because it is full of people. The condenser is trying to reject heat into air that has nowhere to go. Then Phoenix adds dust and a summer that starts in April. Most Beverage-Air faults seen here are that situation catching up with the unit rather than a defect in it.

What We Find Behind the Bar

Fixing the Install, Not Just the Unit

If a back-bar cooler has failed twice in two summers, replacing another fan motor is not the answer. We will tell you when the real fix is ventilation, a louvred panel, or moving the unit, because that costs less than the third repair and it is the honest advice. Local techs service Beverage-Air across the Valley, and there is more on reach-in cooler repair generally. For a unit down mid-service, use the after-hours line.

Beverage-Air Repair FAQs

My back-bar cooler is fine in the morning and warm by closing. Why?

Because the room heats up and the cabinet it sits in has nowhere to dump that heat. Through the day the space behind the bar climbs, the condenser recirculates its own warm air, and the unit gradually loses the ability to keep up. It is a ventilation problem wearing the costume of a refrigeration one, and it is very common in Valley bars.

This is the second one to fail in two summers. Is it the equipment?

Probably not. Repeat failures in the same location almost always point at the install rather than the make, usually a condenser with no route to fresh air. We would rather look at clearance and ventilation than sell you a third repair on the same cabinet.

Local techs also service True and Traulsen, plus whole-kitchen coverage if several units need attention at once.
